The ABC has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help farmers and ranchers with their farm forestry loans.
The program aims to fund up to a $200,000 loan for rural communities in Queensland and Western Australia.
The farmers will need to pay a set amount each month, for 10 years.
Ranchers will also have to pay up to $10,000 per year in maintenance fees, but will be able to borrow up to 40 per cent of their farm’s farm value for the loan.
The loan is expected to be paid back within 15 years.
Farmers can choose from several different options including a fixed-term fixed-rate, a variable-rate variable-interest rate and a fixed annual rate.
