A Florida man has been charged with illegally planting a tree in his backyard for sale.

According to the Gainesville Sun, the tree, a 6-foot-tall, 300-pound, 7-inch-wide, yellow-green specimen, was planted in the backyard of an unidentified Florida man who works as a landscaper.

The tree is being held at the Gaines County Jail.

According to documents filed with the Gainville Police Department, the Florida man was arrested on Feb. 11 and charged with two counts of unauthorized use of a controlled substance.

He was scheduled to appear in court on March 1.
