In the aftermath of their “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” and “The Last Cut” singles, Forest skidie duo The Last Cut have finally released a new album, but it’s been a long time coming.
Last year, the band announced plans to record a new studio album and a full-length follow-up to 2014’s “Songs From the Black Rainbow” album.
Now, though, the duo are preparing to unveil their first full-fledged music video since the video for “The Final Trace.”
In it, the two of them skate through a snowy park, wearing their signature red skis and ski masks.
The footage, which will be released on October 12 on the Forest website, will also include a few new songs.
The video was shot by filmmaker Jason Purdon, who previously worked on “Penguin” and also directed “Sings The Night.”
Purdan also shot footage for the music video for the band’s “All Night,” which was released in 2016.

Forest, who recently released the video “Singing The Night” for the album, also released a music video of the band, which you can see below.
In the new video, Forest plays a piano solo while wearing a ski mask, while skidding on the snow.
He also appears to be wearing a cape as he runs through the snow, while wearing his trademark red skid-skate hat.
